What to expect

A funicular from 1907 climbs from Punt Muragl to a terrace at 2,456 m with the whole Upper Engadine below: the lakes of St. Moritz, Silvaplana and Sils in a row, and the Bernina peaks behind. A nearly level path leads along the slope, and the terrace of the mountain hotel is known for its sunsets. In winter a toboggan run takes you back down.
