What to expect
A cable car from Bernina Diavolezza station on the Bernina railway takes you to 2,973 m, straight across from Piz Palü, Piz Bernina and the Pers and Morteratsch glaciers. The terrace of the mountain inn has one of the great glacier views of the Alps. The ski season runs late into spring, and strong wind stops the cable car.
