Three cable car stages from Oberstdorf take you right to the summit, with some 400 peaks around you from the Zugspitze to the Säntis. The Nordwandsteig walkway runs along the north face, and the Hindelanger Klettersteig via ferrata starts at the top. Good for walkers and climbers alike, but only cable cars go up, so watch the wind.
