What to expect
About an hour from Basel, a gondola and a ten-minute walk take you to a bare, rounded summit above the Rhine plain. The 360° view takes in the Vosges and, on clear days, the Alps, and a gentle circuit trail goes round the top. A calm, easy outing with an inn at the top.
