What to expect

A cable car climbs from Erlenbach im Simmental past the Hinterstockensee lake to the Stockhorn at 2,190 m. A gallery cut into the rock looks straight down to Lake Thun, and the panorama runs from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Jura. It sits on the northern edge of the Alps, so in autumn it often stands above the sea of fog.

  • Lake views
